ABOUT RELIABLE CONNECTIONS
WHO WE ARE
Reliable Connections runs Tools for Tomorrow and Responsibility House — a two-step reentry program in Los Angeles County for young men coming home from secure juvenile justice placement.
Young men are placed with us by Probation and the courts, into a Least Restrictive Placement setting. We serve ages 18–25, and we accept Prop 57 placements.
WHAT WE DO
We build the bridge between a locked setting and independent adult life, in two deliberate steps.
Step one — Tools for Tomorrow. Staffed around the clock, with structured weekday programming while a routine takes hold. Staff build an individual plan covering employment, education, transportation, behavioral health, family and long-term housing. Community passes are earned in stages rather than handed over on day one.
Step two — Responsibility House. Structure comes down, responsibility goes up. Participants hold a job, budget real income, contribute toward household expenses, build credit, and plan a real move-out — apartment search, lease readiness, utility setup.
WHO WE SERVE
Our primary focus is young men ages 18–25, placed through the juvenile justice system. We also accept Prop 57 placements.
We work alongside families and caregivers, community-based organizations, and Probation, courts and referral partners.
Our services are designed to meet people where they are and support long-term stability.

WHY RELIABLE CONNECTIONS EXISTS
Reliable Connections was created to address gaps in reentry support.
Too often, individuals returning to the community face fragmented systems, limited housing options, and a lack of consistent support. We exist to bridge those gaps by offering structured guidance and reliable connections to resources that promote stability and growth.
GRADUATION IS NOT A DISCHARGE
Every young man who has graduated from this program is still part of it.
Some come back to mentor the participants coming up behind them — which means someone in his first thirty days can sit with a man who has already been through all of it and is standing on the other side of it. Others stay in touch and send word when something lands: a car, a promotion, an apartment, a kid.
The door stays open and the phone still gets answered, whether he calls six months later or six years later.
Most of these young men have had every relationship in their life end on a date somebody else picked. This one doesn't.
